The Return of Tranquility
Dark-mood lady exited the room with a show of dignity. The thin male friend, stuck his wiry arms into his pockets and silently slipped out of the room, balancing his eerie frameless glasses on his long nose, face devoid of expression. The receptionist titled back in his seat and smiled in silent relief. I imagine,…

Mary and Elizabeth
Back to the story of Mary and Elizabeth. We learned that Elizabeth and her husband Zechariah were wither in their fifties or sixties. They were childless. Mary, Elizabeth’s relative was between 12 and 16 years old. As with women of the New Testament, they were marginalised, rural dwellers living in small villages. (Hence the mention…

Fearless for God
I want to be fearless and get that motorbike. That in itself serves no purpose if I have no spiritual strength of fearlessness. I am chasing God’s boldness and confidence. I have never been an extreme sports fan but I could in the future!

The Scattering
Community is something we are designed to appreciate and at the best of times, we revel in it. The rest of the time, we crave acceptance, company and comfort. After all, God created us for His enjoyment and blessing and in His company we find joy and fulfillment. So what better way to live than…
